Week 1

Everywhere our Jesus went, He preached the Kingdom of God and healed the sick. Jesus said, “If you’ve seen me you’ve seen the Father.” Jesus was the will of God in action. The reason He came was to destroy the works the devil had done. Sickness and disease categorically came as the result of the fall of man, and through the grace of God in Christ Jesus, our redemption had delivered us for the power and penalty of sin.

Yet living faith in His work must be released for Him to have something to work with. We’re told simply that a double-minded man cannot expect to receive anything from the Lord. Let us be bold to believe God’s word, and release our faith in a loving God who longs to care for His children who have sickness or pain, with far greater intensity than any earthly father could know. You must believe that He wants you well, more than you want to be well.

Prayer:
Father, Your word is very clear in telling me that Jesus Christ Himself took my infirmities, and bore my sicknesses. If He bore them, why should I have to bare them as well? Today I close the door on doubt, and choose to believe that the price has been paid for my healing. You are not a man that You should lie, and right now as an act of my will, I release my faith that Jesus paid the price over 2000 years ago for me to be free from pain and sickness of any sort. In Jesus Name, I receive my healing now, and I offer up praise and thanksgiving, to Jehovah Rapha, the Lord that healeth me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Week 2

Jesus said that healing is the children’s bread. It meant that it was the normal expectation to be fulfilled by children of the day. They knew that everyday of their life under their parents’ roof, they could expect bread to eat. It was natural to their life. Healing is supposed to be seen as less a miracle, and more a right and privilege allotted us by our Heavenly Father.

The parents’ job was to make provision for the preparation of the bread; the children’s part was to be sure to be in the right place to receive the bread. So it is with healing. Our Father has done His part in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and the horrific stripes that paid the price for our healing. Our part is to develop our understanding of His heart towards us in this provision of healing, and know why He offers it. He wants us strong to do His bidding, even as the earthly father wants his children strong to fulfil their responsibilities. Healing comes much more readily when we seek it because we want to fulfil the great commission. Why should we expect the supernatural though if all we want is to be more comfortable while watching television? If you want to live for God, God wants you strong to do so.

Prayer:
Lord my heart is to serve You with all my being. I need strength to do that; I can’t afford to be weak. I may not understand all that I should yet about healing Lord, but I do understand that You’re my Father, and that any good father wants the best for his children. I know in my heart that this is true of You. Therefore in Jesus’ Name I accept this truth in my inner man. Of course You want me well. You’ve never made anyone ill to teach them something. That would be criminal. No, You’re a great and awesome God and Father to me, and I receive Your healing bread into my body today, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
